Homemade Cake

  • 200 g sugar, too sweet reduce.
  • 120 g unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g all purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 130 g cup milk

Vanilla Buttercream

  • 350g unsalted butter
  • 776g confectioners’ sugar
  • 100 g whole milk
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Grease and flour a 9 x 9 inch pan
In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter, beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla

Bake 30 to 40 minutes for cake 175 degree c

For cupcakes, 20 to 25 minutes 175 degree c

Make the frosting

Slice a thin layer of the cake to create flat surface
Place one layer of cake on cake stand
Evenly cover the top with about 1 and 1/2 cup frosting top with second layer, 1 and 1/2 cup of frosting, top with third layer.
Spread remaining frosting all over top and sides.
