COVID hhas caused many western people to bake their own bread. Yhere are a lot of news on bread.
Day 3Discard 100 g or leftover 2 tablespoon of starter100 g flour 100 g water
Day 4Discard 150 g or leftover 2 tablespoon of starter100 g flour 100 g water
Day 5Discard 200 g or leftover 2 tablespoon of starter150 g flour150 g water
Day 6Discard 250 g or leftover 2 tablespoon of starter200 g flour 200 g water
Day 7Put in a bit of sourdough starter in water, if it float, passed.
To keep the starter Put starter in fridge can store and feed the starter once a week If Not often bake bread.
Put starter in the kitchen can store and feed the starter everyday If Often bake bread.
To feed the sourdough starter, Discard half the starter, then put in half the flour and water.
To use sourdough starter, After you have feed the sourdough starter, pour some out of the jar. Then don't forget to feed what's left in the jar with more flour and water to keep the process going. I myself feed 200 g of flour, 200 g of water. To use starter, starter is rised at the top and if put in water, the starter float.
