Indian Curry Chicken

500 g chicken
2 to 3 tablespoons of oil
3 medium onions
1 – tablespoon Minced Ginger Garlic
2 medium tomatoes finely chopped
salt as needed
1/2 to 1 cup or 1 packet (200 ml) water or coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon curry powder or garam masala
4 clove
2 inches cinnamon


  • Put in coves and cinnamon, stir until fragrance
  • Add in onion, stir until golden brown
  • Stir fry until golden brown and add ginger garlic paste, stir until fragrance
  • Add in tomatoes, turmeric and salt. Mix and cook until tomatoes turn soft and marshy
  • Add red chilli powder and garam masala or curry powder
  • At low heat, cook until mixture smell good and raw smells go away.
  • Add in chicken fry until chicken turn
  • Add in coconut milk or water. Do not add too much, it will become runny.
  • Cover and cook for 30 minutes
  • Add in curry powder if needed
  • Put on plate
